Meet Molly, our Founder and Head Coach.
Molly founded 'Solo Sessions Global Ltd' after she began teaching two sisters piano and then wanted to start working for a company, however she couldn't find somewhere with hours that worked with her full-time job at the time.
After no time, she created 'Solo Sessions' and started getting it on the map.
Molly has recently gained her Level 1 and 2 Estill Voice International qualifications and completed her BA Honours degree in Musical Theatre. She has aspirations to get her EFP and Master trainer qualifications in Estill Voice. After graduating from the 'The MGA Academy' in Edinburgh, Molly has been auditioning for shows in London for performer jobs all of the world.
When asked about Solo Sessions journey so far, Molly said: "I am still in shock of how far my company has come. I quickly realised I wanted this full-time for myself as I was unhappy in my full-time office job. I began focussing on making 'Solo Sessions' fully-fledged, with a happy environment for kids to learn. I am so excited by how much we have expanded this much in such a short space of time! My staff are such great coaches for the new students and love their jobs which is so encouraging to see!"
Molly soon started the Instagram page: @solosessionsglobal to reach a larger audience, where she gained students, but majoritively grew the company through word of mouth. 'Solo Sessions' had ten students in under six months which was unexpected.
'Solo Sessions' is now two years old and houses music coaching for over 30 students both face to face and online across the UK, with five hard-working staff members. We also reached the first company goal of coaching 30 students by the summer of 2021.

Meet Katy, our Piano Coach.
Katy is currently studying medicine at Dundee University. On weekends, she teaches piano students remotely from her flat.
We were eager to take Katy on into our team as she has higher and advanced higher qualifications in music in conjunction with completing grades out-with her education.
When asked to describe her 'Solo Sessions' experience so far, she commented: " 'Solo sessions' creates a safe environment for students of all abilities to learn and develop their musical talents. Lesson plans help structure and record individual progress, as well as setting fun and achievable goals!".
We are super happy to have her on our team and have heard positive feedback about her teaching from students she engages with weekly. Katy's favourite song to teach is: "Happy birthday, anyone can play it and it makes them happy when they achieve it. There will always be a time when you will be glad you can whip out a happy birthday on the piano!"
